The Wedding card

Wedding cards..

3-4 wedding cards for a wedding!Well that may sound weird for some and familiar for few..But that is how Indian weddings are! Throw the money and be happy! Whether you are actually happy or not..

My wedding had 3 types of cards for friendds and relatives..

The one we print to invite relatives was a traditional yellow colored Tamil wedding card, and the invite for family friends had some additions and deletions from the traditional relatives invite.

My wedding card to announce the big day had to be special. My hubby was miles away and hence I had to decide everything over emails..Well, if you think it is easier, its not..Being in different time zones and with both of us busy in our works, it wasn't easy..Was quite confused whether to select a small handy one (as anyway no one is gonna keep it after wedding) or a bigger one..after all 'am making it once in my life.

So selected this golden coloured lovely card with the hubby's approval. Not so expensive, quite big to incorporate the necessary info. Picked the model in internet and had to really collect 200 numbers of these cards from a place away from my hometown.(the card was procured from Sivakasi as it was not available in my hometown branch of Lovely cards)

Designing the Wedding card..What has to be printed?? My dental post graduate education really helped me here..We used to do so many powerpoint presentations(ppt) in Post graduation.A lot of designing in ppt  to make it attractive and not boring or sleepy for the audience made it possible to design the card myself. The entire invite writeup was written with our names as Acronyms..
Though not very poetic , felt unique.Isnt it?

Had to really protect these cards while sticking and posting them from my  cute little nephew who was more interested in playing with these..

Still the wedding memories remain green...After all its once in a lifetime experience:)
